Inaugural Meet & Greet

Last night marked the first ever Asheville Etsy Street Team Meet & Greet. Six of our team members, along with various friends and family, gathered for a potluck at Weaver Park. We couldn't have asked for a better time - good food, good people, good location, and a good time for all.

Thanks to Katie (scrumdidlyump) for getting the ball rolling on this one. Other Etsians attending included cozyblue, The Flying Trapeze, Pliable Trade, and The Runny Bunny. It was a great opportunity to share Etsy experiences and brainstorm some new ideas for the team. Thanks everyone for making it a great evening!

Lexington Art and Fun Festival

We have been offered, as a group, a double booth and mini grant of $250! We just need to come up with a proposal for an interactive activity at the LAFF festival. If you haven't been to LAFF before, it is the bees knees. I am thinking of getting my own individual booth to sell my pottery, but the group booth could also sell Etsy goodies from people on our team. I think we could also get a grant from Etsy to get some promo stuff and spread the word.

We need a cohesive plan, and then.... WE ROCK!
